About Seiko: Follow your dreams and keep moving forward is the philosophy of Seiko founder Kintaro Hattori. Fascinated by Swiss watchmaking, Kintaro dreams of becoming a great high-level watchmaker and at just 18 years old he opens a watch repair shop in his own home in Kyobashi (Ginza district). Four years later he founds the K Hattori company for repairs and sale of second-hand watches.
